I ♥️ Hermanus campaign started as an online campaign with the creation of many colourful murals in the CBD and at businesses in Onrus and Voëlklip. The local community and visitors opted in and have been sharing photographs taken against the wall art backdrops since December 2020. The campaign is supported with stickers and t-shirts. Carina Bruwer – 1st to swim across Walker Bay

Capetonian musician Carina Bruwer partnered with Tribuo Artist Relief Fund to become the first person to swim 21km across Walker Bay from Hermanus Old Harbour to Stanford’s Cove. She completed this swim in a time of 6:36 with water temperatures ranging between 17.5 and 19°C.
