SANSA has been operational in Hermanus for 81 years. On Wednesdays at 11:00 the public can book a free guided tour of the premises. This covers a visit to the Space Weather Centre, Applied Science, and the Science Centre. The last stop is a fun, interactive experience for all ages.
Fast Fact: SANSA appointed Africa’s first ever space weather forecasters in 2021 for its new 24/7 Space Weather Centre which will be finalized later this year.
