September is Tourism Month
The Cape Whale Coast is ready to welcome visitors. Although there will not be an official Whale Festival, the whales have arrived and Hermanus is putting up a great show to make sure visitors are entertained and kept busy. We start the week with a First Friday Art Walk on Friday. Galleries extend opening hours this Friday and invite all to visit the 22 art galleries and toast to the new season while engaging with the artists. Tourism Month highlights the Overberg’s diverse tourism offerings, and the sector’s significant contribution to the country’s economy. Tourism Day will be celebrated on 27 September. The theme for this year is “Tourism for inclusive growth”.
