Cape Town man becomes the first to swim to and from Dyer Island, Gansbaai
De Wet du Toit from Stellenbosch became the first person to successfully swim the treacherous 7.7km to-and-from Dyer Island, Gansbaai. These waters are better known for the sharks that swim here than for the humans.
